Before I can even begin to think about what I want to accomplish in 2014, I need to take a bit of time to score my goals from 2013.
You may have read my previous list of goals on my Vision Board post. Let's see how I did:
Well, it looks like I made a dent in many of my goals, so I can't beat myself up too much. However, I still have so much to accomplish and there will be a shift in my 2014 goals.
So as I did before with my previous Vision Board, I will begin thinking about what I would like to be, do and have in 2014. I'm actually pretty proud of the progress I made this year and will go back to look at my life goals to see what I still need to do.
I plan on putting together my new Vision Board this weekend - it's such a fun and creative way to think about your goals for the year and it serves as a visual reminder of everything you want out of life. So many people hate making resolutions only to give up on them or forget about them because we get busy in the day-to-day activities and responsibilities. I have my board in my bathroom and I look at it everyday while I blow dry my hair. It helps me focus on my dreams and get inspired. On another note - don't make all of your 'resolutions' or goals fit into the self-improvement category. Think of the fun things you'd like to do during the year as well - you can see some of mine are as simple as home decor and travel. I'd love to set the goal of being a neat freak, but I've got to be somewhat honest and reasonable in my own capabilities!
Don't know what you want to do this year? HINT-HINT - check out those Pinterest boards you've been creating all year but haven't gotten around to doing. :)
I hope you'll join me in creating your very own Vision Board for 2014!
